the addition of this rat rod skull hood ornament has turned more than a few heads since i put it on.
what you need to do is find unique ways to modify/customize your car in a way that makes you happy. don't worry about what everyone else is doing, or what others may think. i can't help but bust out in a big smile every time i see my car.
My turn signal lever/cruise control button was broken when i got it and the previous owner fixed it with electrical tape. i've had this half hula girl sitting in the garage just waiting for a new home.
i've installed a kustom ignition coil cover and remounted the coil on the firewall. just pick your favorite canned beverage and cut the top and bottom off. whatever floats your boat.
. i bought a schlitz tap handle on ebay and wanted to use it as a shift handle. it sat on top of the refridgerator for six months, but i finally did it. i took the gear selector off of the car and used my die grinder and cutting disk to cut the knob off the end. next i searched for a bolt with the same threads as the tap handle. i cut the head off of the bolt and welded the threads onto the gear selector where the knob had been. then just screwed the tap handle on.
that's what i'm talking about!
