ROD YOUR RIDE
updates will now be under the "updates" button on the nav bar. pretty clever huh? i'll arrange them by date for your convenience.
hi, and welcome to rod your ride. on this website i will show you how to get that cool, old school hot rod look. i'll take you step by step and show you how to do this as i rod my own ride. i will cover automotive paint, automotive tools, customizing tips, and anything else i can think of.
i would love to have a 30's,40's, or 50's, car to hot rod. unfortunately, i'm not much of a mechanic.( i'm more of a bodyman/artist) So, when i look for a project car, it needs to be running and drivable. my current project is always my daily driver/work car. so, this excludes most of the older rod material. besides, most late 60's cars already have hydraulic power brakes, and 12 volt electrical systems. this particular car has big block power and fender skirts, and front disk brakes. its already sounding like a rod isn't it?
the first car i'll demonstrate these techniques on is my 1969 oldsmobile ninety-eight. not exactly hot rod material, you say? just wait and see.
